Raphael Sorel (ラファエル・ソレル, Rafaeru Soreru) is a fictional character in Namco’s Soul series of fighting games. First appearing in Soulcalibur II, which he can be viewed as it’s protagonist. He has returned as a starting character for Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur V. Raphael is well known for his fencing style of swordsmanship and his mocking, contemptuous persona.
